This year we get some other great genres thrown in the mix, flavors for everyone! Christmas = Gifts = Treats = Ghettosocks, who is the main force behind this event every year. Big props for the homie, glad to see the tradition continue. Here’s what Socks has to say about the Jam.
This is the sixth year that we’ve done the Duplex Party. It originally started at the Khyber in 2004 until 2006- when it moved to the Marquee from 2007-2008. Now we’re bringing it back to the Khyber with an amazing line-up of performers and visual artists.
Capacity is limited so be sure to arrive early!

Backburner DJ/producer Mutilator Ginzu3 presents a hiphop podcast live from Osaka, Japan. Old school, mid school, new school hiphop with the occasional surprise, the occasional classic, and the occasional trainwreck on the mix, just to keep things interesting. Press play and hang with ginzu for 40 minutes of beats, rhymes and probably alcohol.
Ok, so I’ve been up to a lot recently. here’s the run down.
-First off, The Extremities are back in the studio working on a new project for 5 1/4 records (myspace) out of Toronto. We’re really excited about this album and this new partnership.
- I’ve been busy on the DJ tip these last couple of months; here’s a list of the albums that have (or are about to be) been released that I’ve blessed with my magic fingers:

- I’m in the process of working on a number of albums DJ wise.

Phew!! Wow, that’s a lot. I’ll be back later this week to talk about a new Backburner project underway with Ambition!! If you don’t know who Ambition is, well…you WILL.
The album is gonna be fantastic, Ambition on the rhymes, Dexter on the beats and Myself on the cuts (and it’s more finished than you might think!!)
