Back again with another installment of Into the Archives courtesy of your boys Uncle Fester and Beatmason.
This week, we take a look at Mr. Quibble a Toronto based live beat performance duo. The group consists of Backburner Trickster Fresh Kils and DJ Echo. Fes takes you back to early 2007 for an interview and Beatmason digs up a live show @ Stage 9 in Halifax from 2006. Slight cameo from Wordburglar at the beginning.

This week Fester takes you back to last year for an interview with DJ Cosmo (Canada’s National Redbull DJ Champion) While Beatmason takes us back to 2005 for Apt & DJ Cosmo’s set at the Halifamous launch party. We get two looks at Dj Cosmo from different time periods and for any fan this is a unique take.
Be on the look out for Cosmo’s Debut LP entitled Skinny Power, which features Ghettosocks, Cali Snipes, Foff, Timbuk2, DO and many more.

We got a real treat (of the day) for you this week. An old Alpha Flight performance and interview, Both from 2005.
Check the end of the interview for what is still one of my favorite quotes in any interview I’ve done. The quotables come courtesy of Ghettosocks when he explains his take on hip-hop. The live performance took place at the Khyber for Parker Lewis‘ going away jam. Classic performance with some great moments including a shout out to Krista at the Bar.
